Taishin Securities follows the TS Holdings Sustainable Development Best Practice Principles and its own Sustainable Development Policy. Each year, the Company continues to participate in and align with TS Holdings' ISO 14064-1 greenhouse gas inventory verification, ISO 50001 energy management system certification, and ISO 14001 environmental management system certification to ensure that its environmental management practices are consistent with both TS Holdings requirements and international standards. Since 2020, Taishin Securities has adopted the ISO 14064-1: 2018 standard for greenhouse gas inventories and has conducted regular inventories to better understand its greenhouse gas emissions.In 2022, in alignment with TS Holdings' commitment to the Science Based Targets (SBT) initiative, which targets a 46% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2030, the Company actively implemented a range of energy conservation and carbon reduction measures. In 2024, several branch offices obtained carbon neutrality and green building certifications. Since 2025, the Company has purchased 100,000 kWh of renewable electricity annually from Taipower. In addition, the Company promotes low-carbon commuting through its employee ESG Sustainability Card program, supplemented by incentive campaigns to encourage employee participation. ■Supplier Management Policies
Taishin Securities primarily engages in financial services, and therefore its suppliers have relatively low environmental impact. The Company follows the qualified supplier selection criteria set by its parent company, TS Holdings, for business collaboration. Evaluation criteria include localization, labor practices, and ethical standards. Suppliers found to be involved in dishonest or illegal activities are avoided. Furthermore, we require suppliers to sign the Supplier Code of Conduct to strengthen supplier management. Through monthly satisfaction surveys and supplier evaluations, we regularly track and review supplier performance. In 2025, Taishin Securities also invited suppliers and corporate clients to participate in the TS Holdings Annual Supplier Conference, which focused on “Transitioning Through Plastic Reduction Initiatives.” The “Plastic Circular Cup” initiative was promoted during the event, with participating guests invited to experience it firsthand. To strengthen collaboration with suppliers on procurement and sustainability management, an annual supplier conference is held to recognize outstanding suppliers and facilitate exchanges on a range of sustainability topics. ■Supplier Risk Assessment
Taishin Securities followsthe policies of its parent company, TS Holdings, by conducting 100% humanrights risk assessments of its suppliers. Through risk questionnaires, theCompany reviews past controversies and legal violations to evaluate the risklevels of its suppliers. For high-risk key suppliers, Taishin Securitiesenforces strict oversight in accordance with human rights risk mitigationmeasures and regularly monitors their improvement progress to promotesustainable development across the supply chain.
■Green Procurement and Local Sourcing
Taishin Securities follows the Supplier Management Guidelines established by its parent company, TS Holdings. When selectingsuppliers and procuring products, priority is given to products that areenvironmentally friendly and possess environmental, water conservation, energyefficiency, or green building material certifications, as well as products madefrom recycled materials, recyclable products, and products with lowenvironmental impact. Through green procurement, Taishin Securities leveragesits influence to embed environmental values into corporate practices, workingcollaboratively with upstream and downstream suppliers to build a green supplychain. In addition, when purchasing office supplies or equipment, the Companyprioritizes local suppliers to reduce transportation costs and carbonfootprint, while also demonstrating Taishin Securities' support and care forthe local suppliers.
In 2025, Taishin Securities achieved a greenprocurement amount of NT$10,918,040 for computer and monitor equipment. In thefuture, the Company will continue to promote environmental protection goals byencouraging and supporting its suppliers, thereby fulfilling its corporatesocial responsibility.
